25 years in business
and traveling

For a long time, I believed that to succeed, you had to stay in one place. ✈️🌍
Having an office. A permanent address. A well-established routine.
And then life taught me something else.
For over 25 years, I’ve built my business while traveling.
From the United States to Europe, from Africa to the Caribbean, from Panama to Dubai… my life has often unfolded between two planes, two continents, and several time zones.
And yet, my business has never slowed down.
On the contrary.
Over time, I’ve come to understand something essential:
traveling doesn’t hinder your success… it can accelerate it
Here are the most powerful lessons that these 25 years of entrepreneurship and travel have taught me.
1. Freedom is a decision, not a destination
Many women think that freedom will come someday.
When the business is more stable.
When there’s more money.
When the kids are older.
When the “perfect” moment arrives.
But the truth is different.
There is no such thing as the perfect moment.
Freedom begins the day you make a simple decision:
to create a life that truly reflects who you are.
When I launched my first business in 1998, I didn’t know exactly what I was going to do.
But I knew one thing:
I wanted a business I could run from anywhere in the world, with just a computer, a phone, and an internet connection.
That decision changed my entire trajectory.

2. The problem isn’t the budget… it’s the strategy
This is probably the belief I hear most often:
“I’d love to travel… but I can’t afford it.”
However, after years of traveling, I’ve noticed something surprising:
Traveling often costs less than staying at home.
It all depends on how you organize your life and your business.
Some destinations around the world allow you to live comfortably for a fraction of the cost of certain major European cities.
And most importantly, when your business becomes flexible and digital, your income can follow you anywhere.
It’s not a question of wealth.
It’s a question of lifestyle.
3. Travel changes your perspective on business
When you stay in the same environment all the time, your view of the world often remains limited.
Travel opens up something much bigger.
You discover:
other cultures
other ways of life
other attitudes toward money
other perspectives on work
And very often, this triggers a realization.
You realize that the lifestyle presented to you as “normal” is just one option among many.
And that you have the right to create your own.
4. True luxury today is no longer about money
For a long time, the symbol of success was simple:
more money, more possessions, more status.
Today, true wealth has changed.
True luxury has become:
choosing where you live
choosing who you work with
choosing your own pace
choosing how you use your time
In a word: freedom.
And this freedom has become accessible to far more people than we realize.
Thanks to digital technology, it’s now possible to build a business that lets you work from almost anywhere in the world.

5. Fear rarely disappears before taking action
Many women tell me:
“I’d like to travel more… but I’m afraid.”
Afraid to go alone.
Afraid of not being able to manage the business from a distance.
Afraid of stepping outside their comfort zone.
After all these years, I’ve come to understand one thing:
women who live a free life aren’t any less afraid than others.
They’ve simply decided not to let their fears make decisions for them anymore.
And very often, freedom begins with a simple decision:
taking that first step.
A first trip.
A first experience.

6. Your business should support your life—not the other way around
This is probably the most important lesson.
Many entrepreneurs build a business…
that ends up trapping them.
More work.
More pressure.
More responsibilities.
And ultimately… less freedom.
For me, business has always had a different purpose:
to support the life I want to live.
Not the other way around.
A business that allows you to:
travel
meet inspiring people
create meaningful projects
have enriching experiences
That’s where entrepreneurship becomes truly powerful.
A new way of living and doing business
Today, I meet more and more women who feel the same way.
They no longer just want to work more.
They want to:
travel more
live in different countries
build a flexible business
meet inspiring people
create a life that reflects who they are
That’s exactly why I created Passion & Evasion.
A space where you can explore a new way of living and doing business:
more free, more mobile, more aligned.
Because deep down, the real question isn’t:
“Is it possible?”
The real question is:
